Merry X-mas everyone?

Was just outside a few minutes ago.  Off in the distance, some happy X-mas music was playing from someones outside decorations (I believe it was 'SANTA CLAUSE WAS COMING TO TOWN" or some other syrupy strain.)

I don't know if it was the darkness, or the otherwise stillness of the air, but for some reason I felt like I was in the middle of a horror film.  I had to quickly run back inside and bolt the door. 

I blame society, TV and violent video games (and maybe Trump's hair) for this sudden an irrational reaction.
