It's no spoiler to say right off the bat (partial pun intended), that the Joker intentionally has someone cut off his face!! Are you flipping kidding me?! It's just hanging there nailed to the wall. How am I supposed to get that image out of my head???To top it off, we don't find out the who or the why -- the book ends with a story about the penguin. I guess I'll have to read volume two now (with ALL of the lights on in the house.)
